Solar Challenge 2008
The second edition of the Frisian Solar Challenge has taken place a while ago. And we can look back at it with a good feeling.
Six days long, from June 22th till June 29th 2008 the teams were intently and they put up a fight to become the winner. Already a few days before the kick-off teams and organization were busy with skill competitions, swimming tests and qualification sprints.

| Innovation price | Het Teylingen College from Voorhout | They discovered a new method with ‘klunen’. (Walking with the solar boat on the shore.) |

Copacabana from Brasil | They have shown great courage to enter this project, and they stayed positive despite the immersion after the prologue. |
| Bad luck price | het Imperial College from London | With the finish of Leeuwarden in sight, they had to give up because of technical problems. |
